Ships Log. Mar14, 2013

We’ve finally got a true autumn day on our hands with a pure offshore breeze that is swinging between WSW and SW. Surf is clean and in the 4ft range with spots north of Byron likely to have a tad extra size. Water’s still brown in this stretch but again, you’ll find it much cleaner north of the Bay and especially north of the Border. We’ll see winds clock around to the S during the morning but hopefully this offshore will have some legs to it. Definitely worth downing tools at some stage this morning or clocking a slightly later start if you’ve got some flexibility in the program. Congrats to the King for his incredible performance at Kirra yesterday.

Thems clean lines, a rare sight in these parts.

Still rain squalls on the horizon so expect some weather during the day.

Thats the best looking wave I’ve seen this autumn.
