Ships Log. Mar16, 2013

First, sorry about the woeful undercall yesterday morning. I must have checked during a long lull, because it was pretty apparent standing on the rocks half an hour later that 4ft was more like 6-8ft. It pulsed through the afternoon too, as the swell swung by degrees to the south of E and winds stayed moderate from the S to SSW. This morning has definitely eased back from those heights with size in the 4ft range and clean, offshore conditions. Swell direction has gone further S and is close to SE, a good directi0n for some spots, while others will be showing much less size. Well worth a scout around this morning. Points are well attended but there will be some less crowded options for the savvy.

Clean lines again. TC Sandra did the bizness.

That squall out to sea should burn off and leave us with a sunny autumn day with surf.
